Up for sale is one LARGE RF Excited Ion Source with Particle Accelerator Stage for a Farnsworth Fusor. This custom Ion Source was part of a decommissioned university project and is very well constructed with quality materials and expert milling. The whole unit measures approximately 8 inches in diameter with a total length of about 18 inches. At the small end is a quartz plasma chamber which is excited with an RF pump energy, using the included electrode rings that couple with the chamber. Below that is an electromagnet focusing coil and then the accelerator stage made of metal rings and glass cylinders with o-ring seals. There is a gas injector tubing with Nupro valve located between the plasma generator and the accelerator stage. What you see in the pictures is what you will recieve.
